Trash Free Hill 2026 (TFH2026)

The Trash Free Hill 2026 (TFH2026) programme was successfully held on 21 June 2026 on Penang Hill, marking another meaningful milestone in the collective efforts to keep Penang Hill clean and pristine.

The event was graced by YB Dato’ Seri Sundarajoo A/L Somu, Penang State EXCO for Housing and Environment, and attended by Encik Muhamad Azizun bin Jaafar, Director of the Penang State Forestry Department, together with event partners and sponsors.

With the support of about 500 participants, approximately 130kg of waste was successfully collected from seven hiking routes across Penang Hill. The initiative brought together partners, sponsors, volunteers, and the community in a shared effort to promote environmental awareness and responsible stewardship of Penang Hill’s natural environment.

Penang Hill Corporation extends its sincere appreciation to all partners, sponsors, and participants for their dedication and support in protecting the natural heritage of the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve and contributing towards a cleaner and more sustainable Penang Hill for future generations.
